Bass Fishing Report for October 2008
The Fall Season is quickly upon us and
the opportunity to experience some phenomenal Orlando bass fishing action is just a couple
of months away. October is when our bass begin their preparations
for the spawning season and is the best time to find our bass
feeding aggressively on the surface. If you have not witnessed
hundreds of bass feeding on the surface then you won't want to miss
this time of year. The weather in October is generally quite
comfortable with high temperatures around 85-90 degrees.
The weather and water
temps in Orlando are ahead of schedule and have turned the bass bite on here at
Lake Toho with clients catching up to 30 fish on 6 hour trips. Starting early and being in the right place at the right
time is key for the best results. Live bait right now is producing
good results but the artificial bite is actually a little better
with good numbers and quality being caught.
October 22nd - If you aren't on the water bass fishing in Orlando you are really missing out on some great fishing. The bass fishing on live bait is doing pretty well with bass being caught up to 7lbs but it is the artificial lure bite that is off the hook. No, it isn't the easiest bass fishing as the wind has been blowing 15mph all day every day but the bass are biting with great quality being brought in. Take a look at the pictures below of recent clients as well as me with one of two 5lb bass caught today.

The great thing about the bass fishing
in Orlando is that all of our lakes are fishing very well right now
thanks to great weather and cooler water temperatures. Lake Toho is
still the best choice for where to fish as this lake offers clients
the best chance at a trophy bass and they are biting all over the
lake right now.
Orlando, Florida has been
known as a top vacation destination for years thanks to Disney
World, Universal Studios, Sea World and beautiful beaches. But what
many vacationers are not aware of is the trophy bass fishing that
lies within minutes of the theme parks or how many trophy bass are
caught each year in Orlando. The opportunity to experience trophy
bass fishing in Orlando is literally just outside your doorstep wherever you
are staying. If you will be planning a bass
fishing trip to Orlando be sure to bring your camera along for the
trip. Florida is known for its wildlife and on any day you can
expect to see alligators, Eagles, Ospreys or otters.
Bass Fishing Report for August -
September 2008
The Bass Fishing in Orlando is extremely exciting right now for my
clients as we are right in the middle of Summer. Most all of our
lakes are running high with constant afternoon rains and current can
be found on any lake with a creek or river. The morning bite is
still the best action to be found with topwater lures producing
quality sized fish on Lake Toho. There is still quite a bit of
hydrilla throughout Lake Toho which is where the biggest bass are.
Right now I would recommend artificial lures for my trips with
clients that are experienced anglers. For everyone else live bait is
really the way to go for the best results.
